Virgo Season 2022 is upons us and here are the major transits that will play out in the sky in the following 4 weeks.

The Sun's ingress into Virgo happens as it is receiving a square from Mars in Gemini. Confrontational atmosphere is in the air which will pass by quickly but likely propell you to action.

At the same time, Mercury (the ruler of Virgo) is in the late degrees of Virgo simultaniously opposing Neptune (in Pisces) and trining Pluto (in Capricorn). News, language, ideas interact with images, the subconsious and the question of power. Mercury and Neptune are in opposition but the opposition places the two energies on the same plane/axis and often a reconciliation between them is made possible. Our rational faculties come up against the 6th sense and the images and illusions in our heads. A moment of painful sobering up or a blissful drawning in to the beauty of dreams. The trine to Pluto suggests the former.

Later in the season (on Sept 2nd), Mercury will enter Libra and oppose Jupiter (the other ruler of Pisces). Mercury in Libra is less about practical reality and more about fair judgement. An opposition to Jupiter (the other planet associated with justice) indicates that a decision will have to be made that may be a close call and a hard one. The bigger picture and the facts on the ground might come into a clash.

A week later, Mercury will station Rx and again (on Sept 18th) move back into this opposition with Jupiter. Be careful what decisions you set in stone around the 2nd because you might have to revisit them on the 18th. Overall, be careful about all Mercurial things set in motion during Virgo season because Mercury will be Rx until October 1st and will terminate its Rx motion at the same degree at which it is at the start of Virgo Season. Everything from now until October 1st may be up for revision.

Throughout Virgo season, the Sun will trine Uranus (on the 11th), oppose Neptune (on the 16th) and trine Pluto (on the 18th) giving us a mixture of rebellion, broken dreams/illusions and a newfound sense of power/understanding. That is the positive way this can play out. The negative way is that our attempts at innovation may lead to disempowerment due to illusions and miscalculations.

Venus (the energy within us that leads us to be agreeable, likeable, cooperative in the name of beautiful things and situations) will go through quite a journey this month. First, she will square Uranus, then oppose Saturn, then square Mars and finally trine Uranus. In a way, she will attempt a friendly and diplomatic change, it will not work (the square to Uranus), then she will get some ideas from the two malefics (hard aspects to both Saturn and Mars) and then come back to Uranus, this time with a way to make the change successful and harmonious.

Venus already had a similar journey in June when she was conjunct Uranus and then squared Saturn. Now we are seeing a reverse of that interplay, as she will form a negative aspect to Uranus and then a tad more harmonious one to Saturn before making a truly positive connection with Uranus.

Lastly for Virgo season, Uranus will go Rx on August 24 stalling our momentum for a rebellion and forcing us to revisit the latest changes, revise our strategies and arm up for the forward momentum next year. Stay tuned for my special post on that retrograde in a few days :)
