The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in late April is one of the most important transits this year. It will not happen again in our lifetimes and it involves outer, slower-moving planets so it will have long-lasting implications in everyone's lives. At the level of social/community/political life, Uranus rules over sudden upheavals, earthquakes, the electricity system, internet communication, modern communication systems, space travel infrastructure, social unrest, bottom-up social movements.
With Uranus conjoining Jupiter, we can see a massive earthquake, accidents in electricity grids, foreign sabotages to electricity systems (Jupiter rules over foreign lands, cultures, people), disruptions in communication cables, large social networks going down, reversals in how we use space infrastructure, space accidents, internationalisation (Jupiter) of electricity grids (Google "EU common electricity market"), internationalisation of space infrastructure (Google "SpaceX launches South Korea’s second spy satellite in Florida").
With Uranus ruling over social unrest and bottom-up social organisations, we can expect more protests and protests becoming more international (note that the conjunction happens after a total solar eclipse in Aries, the masculine home of the God of War; Iranian response to the attack on its embassy; expected Rafah invasion; expected Russian offensive in Ukraine), protests going global, a major global protest against something.
Uranus rules over trade unions and with the conjunction to Jupiter, there may be legal disputes between governments and trade unions.
The conjunction is taking place in the sign of Taurus, a sign associated with land (the Middle east) and agriculture (the agri protests in Brussels; the agri duspite along the Poland-Ukraine border). It is also associated with nature and the environment, so environmental disasters, food crises (Palestine; food prices across the world) are possible.
Uranus rules over science and scientific breakthroughs. Jupiter expands to encorporate others. We can see a new international collaboration of scientific nature, potentially one related to the environment (climate initiative), food (GMO and its new varieties such as "gene-edited crops"; the EU is introducing new regulations there; global spread of GMOs 7 "science-enhanced foods"; release of new GMO food items such as pruple tomatoes), finances (CBDCs; bitcoin; a new BRICS currency; any currency; FX echange rates because Taurus rules over finances/gold).
Uranus is science, Jupiter is publishing/translation - we can see some breakthrough in translation services (ex. AI providing a simoultanous translation) or book printing methods.
Taurus is a sign associated with the voice - new voice-based technologies can emerge around or shortly after the conjunction.
Taurus is associated with the arts and luxuries, Uranus is technology = the emergence of new digital clothes, digital accessories, digital art (NFTs). With Jupiter joining the mix, there can be a sudden increase in the popularity/demand for such items; or a sudden increase of disconent over luxuries (ex. how much politicians & their wives spend on fashion, clothes, trips, yachts, etc.).
Jupiter has to do with all things international and global = global factors are increasing (Jupiter) unrest (Uranus) over finances, food, climate (Taurus).
Jupiter has to do with religion, Uranus is about reversals and upheavals = a potential crisis in religious matters. Jupiter is about compassion (rules over the sign of Pisces), Uranus is about reversal - those we have have had compassion for up until this point may do something that makes us lose that compassion.
Jupiter rules over the law and legal systems, Uranus is chaos = chaos and upheaval in internatinal law - some country/countries may be breaking international rules to an extent that jeopardises the very existence of the global legal framework.
New regulations may come into being regarding space collaboration, exploitation and deployment of military assets. New regulatory frameworks around "Uranus-in-Taurus things" such as innovative finances (gold; SWIFT system; BRICS currency; biliteral trading going off the USD; new currency/FX intervention methods), financial woos, food (food labelling; the use of pesticides) crises/innovation.
Jupiter rules over higher education and Uranus in Taurus is about nature/food/space/money science innovations - we can see an increase in edu programmes/books on space science and climate (climate curriculum). Clean climate may become a human right. Alternatively, higher education institutions may be joining hands with trade unions for a cause related to finances, funding, food systems, food supply, land administration, agriculture.
Important to note! Jupiter is a planet that brings a lot of focus to everything it touches but passess by fairly quickly over the degrees of the zodiac (it takes only 1 year to go through a sign) so even though in the moment of the conjunction things may feel overwhelming, they will pass by in a few weeks when Jupiter enters Gemini. There will be long-lasting consequences but they will become visible after the initial dust settles. What will remain will be much less than what seems initially.
