The yellow colouring suggests that they are approaching the subject from an intellectual perspective (in the World card they are in full colour). The snake represents Set, the Egyptian god of darkness, death and decay. On the other side of the Wheel is Anubis, the Egyptian guide to dead souls who brings new life. On top, a sphinx with a tilted sword suggests that the secrets of the universe are not easily understood. The Wheel of Fortune signifies change.
